Her we see Roxie performing a recall with Pat at the Nita-Nee Kennel Club match, February 2003. They start with Roxie sitting in heal position by Pat. Pat tells Roxie to stay and walks to the other end of the ring. She turns to face Roxie, and at the judge's signal, calls Roxie to front. Roxie must come at a brisk pace and sits straight directly in front of Pat. Then at the judge's signal, Pat signals Roxie to finish into the heal position.

Roxie is seen her doing a Stand for Exam at the Nita-Nee Kennel Club match, February 2004. The exercise starts with Roxie in heal position beside Pat. Pat has Roxie stand, and then she tells her to stay. She walks 8 feet away and turns to face Roxie. The judge then walks up to Roxie and touches her lightly on the head, shoulders and rear. The judge then steps back and Pat returns around Roxie to the heal position before releasing her. Roxie cannot move a paw during this exercise.

At the 1998 Chinese Shar-Pei Club of America National Specialty Chip and Darin's mom, Wendy, earned his first qualifying score in Novice Obedience leg. Shar-Pei are bright dogs and can do obedience well. It's a shame more Shar-Pei fanciers do not train their dogs in this venue.

At the Mid-Susquahanna Valley Chip earned his third qualifying score and his AKC Companion Dog title. He hopes to see more of his Shar-Pei brothers and sisters in the obedience ring too.

Mirage earned his AKC Companion Dog title at the Southern New Jersey cluster in January 2003. He didn't have the most wonderful scores, but they got it done. Mirage too would like to see more of his Shar-Pei brothers and sisters competing in obedience.

Mirage and Darin earned their UKC Companion Dog title in one weekend at the Hilltown Dog Training Club trials in February 2002. Again, his scores were not steller, but they got it done.
