Elevator ribs, before and after forming. Leaving the paper attached to the steel makes it easy. I accidentally clipped the spar capping tab from the formed one.

The bending brake I made for forming the ribs of the horizontal tail. The pipe wrench is used to rotate the folding bar upwards. Flange width is limited to about a half inch because of the clamping bolts, but that's all I needed for this job.

Finally! The finished ribs for the stabilizer and elevator. The time I invested in the bending brake paid off. They have nice, smooth flanges and are straight as an arrow. Looks like I need more practice with the digital camera though.

Fitting the elevator horn to the elevator. The plans say hold 5/16-inch (not a quarter; not three eighths) horizontal distance from the center line of the elevator spar to the center of the drilled hole in the horn. As if a sixteenth will matter when I connect the custom-made push rod.
