Although I quote John Calvin in several articles let it be known and understood that such quotations are neither meant to endorse him nor infer in any way whatsoever that I identify with him. The quotations are merely for the sake of those who do identify with him and consider themselves "Calvinists" and are designed to make such people aware of what John Calvin believed with respect to the given article or subject matter; as for example some might attempt to say that Calvin held to the false doctrine of "Permission" with respect to theodicy and evil. Aside from his checkered life, his doctrine leaves much to be desired and I strongly disagree with much of what he has left us in his writings; not the least of which is the fact that Calvin endorsed the false and damnable Arminian doctrine that Christ has died for the whole world by which he means everybody including the reprobate. Calvin also held to the false doctrine that believers are still wicked and depraved. Therefore I neither consider nor refer to myself as a "Calvinist". If you ask me if I believe in the so-called "5 points of Calvinism" which is known by the popular acronym "TULIP" I do; and if, on that basis you want to call me a "Calvinist" remember that such has nothing to do with the man John Calvin. Calvin nowhere taught "TULIP". But if you are basing your definition of "Calvinism" on his life and doctrine then on the basis of that definition I am definitely not a "Calvinist". I worship the Lord Jesus Christ, God's Messiah. I do not worship a man. And No you cannot have any of my books I have by him.
