David DeCoteau

Pronounced Dakota, David is a gay low budget film director who made tons of movies during the 80s, many with scream queens Michelle Bauer, Linnea Quigley, and Brinke Stevens. Using these actresses was about his only redeeming quality. He also avoids putting his name on his worst crap by using female pseudonyms like "Ellen Cabot." Many of his movies are unwatchable. He makes contemporary Fred Olen Ray look like Martin Scorcese. Every once in a while, he gets lucky and comes up with something half decent, like Nightmare Sisters or Sorority Babes In The Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama. Even these movies, while being his best efforts, show some pretty shoddy directing. What he lacks in talent, he usually tries to make up for with extreme amounts of nudity. I think he probably set some nudity records in movies like Nightmare Sisters, Naked Instinct, and especially, Dr. Alien. I think he is currently working for Full Moon Productions, the guys that do the Puppet Master movies.
