Centerfold Screen Test 1 & 2
This is a two tape set and both tapes are recorded in EP mode on the crappy Madacy label out of Canada. I have it because Michelle Bauer makes an appearance in Centerfold Screen Test 2, the second tape of the two tape set (why didn't the idiots just put them both on one tape in SP mode?). These tapes are filled with alleged screen tests for nonexistent movies. In other words, these aren't really screen tests, but choreographed little scenes with women who were willing to take their clothes off. I doubt that any of the male species wouldn't realize that they've been duped a minute into the first vignette. It's amazing what some people in Hollywood will do to try to turn a buck.
So, a "casting director" chats with each actress a little bit...what's your name...what are your measurements...are you a member of a union...will you be available on such and such a date when the film starts shooting...and the actress starts the scene. In Michelle's segment, she states her name as something other than Michelle (really helping to add to the authenticity of the whole thing). Then she plays a scene with a guy. The guy's supposed to be her boss and the boss is firing her. She supposed to "do anything" to keep her job. Between the two tapes, there are probably 25 women. Michelle is by far the best actress. She does a good job of trying to get her job back by taking all of her clothes off and flustering the male actor. It's pretty funny. Michelle was definitely an underutilized comic actress, reduced to doing a lot of garbage like this. It really is a shame that she didn't have more starring roles. I give this garbage a 1 because Michelle is in it and she's good and she takes her clothes off.
