Sorority Babes In The Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama
You would think that a movie with this title would have to fall short, but this actually comes pretty close to hitting the mark. What's even more surprising is that it's directed by David DeCoteau, who is not exactly known for making watchable movies.
This movie has some bad acting, some stupid humor, and some boring stretches of dialog. However, it does has a lot going for it. Michelle Bauer and Brinke Stevens are trying to join a sorority (never mind that they're both probably in their 30s in real life). There are three male college nerds who sneak over to the sorority house to secretly watch the proceedings. As the first part of the initiation, Michelle and Brinke have to bend over a couch in their panties and get spanked with a big paddle by the head sorority sister. This is quality B-movie film making. Then, they get squirted with whipped cream and are told to go take a shower. So then we see Michelle and Brinke, completely naked, taking a prolonged shower, trying to get the whipped cream off. The nerds watch the cleansing, but the intruders are caught by the head sorority sister. She threatens to call the police unless they do exactly what she tells them to do. They agree.
So, they are told to go to a bowling alley with the two female pledges, break in, and steal a bowling trophy to prove that they were there. What they don't know is that the head sorority sister's dad owns the mall, and she and her cohorts will be watching all of this from the control room camera. The three nerds and Michelle and Brinke go to the bowling alley. They don't need to break in, because Linnea Quigley, playing a tough street chick named Spider, is breaking into the pinball machines and stealing the money. One of the nerds makes friends with Linnea.
They steal a trophy, but accidentally drop it, and a little monster, an evil "Imp", is released from the trophy. He turns the head sorority sister's cohorts into some kind of she-demons, and the she-demons chase the college kids around the bowling alley and kill them. Before the mayhem kicks in though, the Imp turns Michelle Bauer into a nymphomaniac, and she strips and forces herself on a scared nerd. This is quite a great performance. She even sucks on one of his socks. By the way, this Imp looks like a muppet or something, and has a voice like Barry White's.
So, anyway, there're a lot of fights and carnage. In the end, Linnea and the nerd she teamed up with get the Imp back into a container and ride off into the dawn on her motorcycle. Everyone else is killed.
Like I said, while not truly hitting the heights of a cult classic, this movie does have a lot to offer, and is probably the best thing DeCoteau has ever done. I read that there was a bar in the bowling alley that they shot the movie in, and he was drunk most of the time. Well, maybe he should be drunk when he's directing. I'll give the movie a 4.
