Our daddy English Cocker Spaniel is Champion U-GRACH U-CDX U-RO2 Pennwood Gwynllyn Great Xpectations CD, CDX-H, OA, OAJ, PAX, OFP, RE, JH, SH, WDX, CGC, TDI (Pip). He came to live with us at 3 years old after his breeders finished his AKC conformation Championship. Since then he has earned 4 hunting titles, 5 obedience, 5 rally and 24 agility titles. In UKC Agility he has earned his Grand Champion Agility title. He is currently training for his UD in obedience and tracking too. Here he is after finishing his PAX under judges Paul and Carol Mount at the Delaware County Kennel Club agility trials, February 27, 2010. |
| Pip's first litter of Engie puppies was born June 26, 2006. The momma is a pretty orange roan Engie girl named Valley Hill Keystone Katie (Kate) owned by William Pochiluk. Here, in a photo by Jim Poor, is Pip's son, U-RO2 U-AG1 ValleyHill When the Nite Comes NA, NAJ, RN, CD-H, CGC, TDI (Joe) having an absolute blast earning his U-AG1. Joe is already taking classes to establish a foundation for future competition in obedience, agility, field, and conformation. He has already taken his first point in Conformation at the Lackawanna Kennel Club show under judge Desmond J. Murphy, took second place in the American Bred class at the 2008 ECSCA National Specialty and earned his CDSP CD-H, UKC AG1 and RO1, and his AKC RN. We think he looks like a good prospect to follow in his father's paw steps. | |

Here is the newest member of our family, Elite's I Am for Real at WudaFace aka Really, born September 24, 2009. He is named in memory of Mirage, our late, great performance Shar-Pei boy. Really's momma is Ch. Elite's Give a Little Whistle owned by Sandy Woodall and dad is Ch. R-Lee Mr Cool. He earned his first points, a 3-point major, under judge William Cunningham, at the Bushy Run Kennel Club shows on July 4th, 2010. We are hoping to show the canine world what a Chinese Shar-Pei can do when trained from the beginning as a performance dog. He is giving conformation a try, and is taking classes in attention and body awareness in preparation for obedience and agility training. His performance teachers, Nancy Hoffman (obedience); and Chris Eicher, John Shankweiler, and Donna Brown (agility), think he shows great promise. We hope to make his performance debute at the 2010 CSPCA National Specialty. We sincerely thank Sandy for entrusting Really to us. This photo was taken by artist and photographer Terry Rowe. |
WudaFace is dedicated to raising healthy, well adjusted Chinese Shar-Pei and English Cocker Spaniels that are true to the written CSP standard adopted by the Chinese Shar-Pei Club of America and the written ECS standard as written by the English Cocker Spaniel Club of America respectively. These standards are approved by the American Kennel Club. We are also extremely active in promoting responsible dog ownership through community education and legislative activism. We are members of the Chinese Shar-Pei Club of America, the English Cocker Spaniel Club of America, the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association, the Harrisburg (PA) Kennel Club, the Southeast Keystone Chinese Shar-Pei Club, the Liberty English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers and the Obedience Training Class of Harrisburg (OTCH) which is a United Kennel Club (UKC) licensed organization.
In June 2001, WudaFace Shar-Pei under went some major changes! Darin married a wonderful lady named Patty who owned two English Springer Spaniels (right). Darin moved with some of the Shar-Pei to Patty's home in Camp Hill. In February 2003, English Cocker Spaniel Pip came to live with them and in September 2006 his some joined them too. So now WudaFace Shar-Pei is better known as WudaFace Kennels.
This does not mean that WudaFace will not have any more Chinese Shar-Pei pups. Pat and Darin will let their new blended family get used to one another, and then we shall see. Also, Darin's mom Wendy, who has always been a big part of WudaFace Shar-Pei, is keeping Chris with her, and may have some puppies of her own down the line. Their photo here is by Terry Rowe of Rowe Pet Art.
