The Pat Toomey for US Senate!

WudaFace Kennels Endorses Pat Toomey for US Senator from Pennsylvania

The growth of the Federal Government in power and size would make our Founders roll in their graves. The current rate of spending and the plans for even more will have generations to come buried under a mountain of debt. Special interest groups have the Federal Government intefering in our lives to the point where many believe a Presidential Administration can and should effect us individually on a daily basis. Some radicals would even have us labeled animal "guardians" or "custodians" rather than owners, and would grant our pets rights so that the government could micromanage even this.
We must return to a society of self-reliance, self-discipline, responsibility and the rule of law. The Constitution of the US says what it means and means what it says. Judges do not need to interpret or read anything into it. If you want it to say something else, there is an amendment process.
For all these reasons and more, Pennsylvania needs a new Senator representing us in Washington. We believe Pat Toomey is that person. Please join us in supporting Mr. Toomey in his bid to win a seat in the US Senate, for the good of our Nation!

Dog Law Revisions House Bill 2525 We continue to believe that this legislation was an unnecessary solution to an overblown problem. If and when the PA Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement gets around to fully enforcing the current Dog Law by going after unlicensed commercial kennels, then we could talk about where the loop holes are. Only at that point can the stakeholders honestly debate what to do to close the loop holes.
Cruelty Law Changes HB 2532 and HB 449 Thankfully, HB 2532 failed to pass in this session. It was allowed to pass the PA House of Representatives and go on to the PA Senate despite a continued problem with the requirements for documentation for cropped ears. We would rather see increased enforcement of current laws and regulations until Ed Rendell is gone from the Governor's Mansion. After what he did to the Dog Law Advisory Board in 2006, no dog fancier in the Commonwealth should have any faith in this Administration.

Court Ruling Affecting Local Pet Limit Ordinances
Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court struck down an ordinance that limited the number of dog or cats that could be maintained in a single residence on March 30, 1994. This means that if your municipality has a pet limit, it is unenforceable. For a copy of the ruling contact Anthony W. DeBernardo Jr., Attorney at Law; DeBernardo, Antoniono, McCabe, & Davis PC; 11 North Main Street; Greensburg, PA 15601. The official citation of the case is Commonwealth vs Creighton, 163 PA Cmwlth 68, 639 A.2d 1296 (1994).
